Learn the secrets of Bag Making

The constructions will be covered through the developing of 27 bag patterns of iconic and renown styles such as satchel, bucket bag, saddle bag, drawstring backpack, duffle bag and camera bag just to name a few.

Just like, nowadays industrial and professional way of working is drafted through CAD software, Arsutoria School’s tutorials will address pattern making through Rhinoceros.

Students will achieve skills and will gain knowledge to make patterns as well as their physical mockups.

How Bags Are Made

Overview of the main processes and topics related to the bag industry. The video class has the Instructor’s explanation with the support of slideshows.

Pattern Making

Step-by-step video tutorials of 27 styles of bags, gathered in 5 different constructions. Each bag projects consists of three files outcomes that are: ORTHOGRAPHIC PROJECTION, 3D MOCK-UP, PATTERN.
The drafting of the pattern has to happen through the CAD software Rhinoceros.

Mock-ups

In this section students can understand the steps and techniques of bag making though the assembly of microfiber panels provided by the school. There are 5 of them, one for each construction. The videos of this section will be unlocked consequently to the pattern making of the same bag.
